Dairy Queen

Boss Engineering performed survey, site engineering design, landscape design, construction stakeout, and As-Built construction plans for a new Dairy Queen facility on M-36 in Hamburg Township. Boss Engineering’s work included site layout, site grading, utility design, storm water management design, landscape design, site lighting, and photometrics. Site storm water design included an underground detention basin that had a combined outlet of groundwater infiltration and a restricted outlet into Buck Lake.

Boss Engineering obtained Township site plan approval and construction permits within two months, allowing the customer to meet an aggressive construction schedule. Boss Engineering also obtained permits from the Michigan Department of Transportation (M-36 driveway approach), the Livingston County Drain Commission (soil erosion), and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (storm water discharge into Buck Lake).
