Flood Insurance

As a result of updated Flood Information Rate Maps issued by FEMA in 2008, your Lender may have sent you a “Notice of Flood Insurance Requirements.”

Some homes shown within a Flood Zone may actually be at a higher elevation than shown on the existing maps. If that is the case those properties may be exempt from the flood insurance requirements.  

If you suspect your home may be exempt or just want to be sure of the status of your home, Boss Engineering can provide surveying services necessary to establish an accurate Elevation Certificate and if you qualify, assist you in submitting an application for a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA).
